Get Paid Doing Surveys: Have Fun Make Money

Posted on 01 June 2010 by admin

Who doesn’t like the idea of working from home?  Think about it you can be lounging in your pajamas sipping on a hot cup of coffee or tea or drinking your favorite ice cold beverage while working.  While you are working, you could even watch television or listen to your favorite music.  It sounds like a dream come true, right?

Believe it or not you can actually do all of the above.  You can get paid doing surveys from big companies and corporations.  You may not believe that doing this is possible.  However, it is possible and there are many, many, people who do get paid for doing survey every single day.  You could be one of them.

For the people who get paid for doing survey it means total freedom.  They don’t have to worry about having to be somewhere at a certain time.  They can work whatever time of day they want.  Not only that, they can fill out as many or as few surveys as they are eligible for every single day.  They don’t have to deal with lousy customers or obnoxious co-workers.  Best of all they don’t have a boss standing over their shoulders either.

Don’t quit your day job just yet.  As this kind of income probably won’t allow you to realistically quit your job.  You can make enough extra money to pay down your debt, pay some bills, or just some extra spending cash to go to the movies or pay for gas in the car.

You may be wondering exactly why it is you get paid for doing survey.  This is a good question.  You see most companies or corporations need consumer feedback.  They need to know what people think so they can improve their product to have more appeal and make more sales.

You may think that companies just put products into the marketplace and hope for the best.  For most companies, this isn’t true at all.  They spend a lot of time in research and development.  They then ask a group of consumers through a survey, what they think.  If the product needs to be changed, they will make the necessary changes.  Then they will mass market it on a grand scale.

The amount of money that you get paid for doing survey will depend on the type of survey that you fill out.  The longer the survey the more money you will be paid for completing it.  While it may seem like a good idea to fill out a long survey for $50, you may actually be better off filling out 12 $10 surveys.

The $10 surveys may only take you 5 minutes each to complete.  Therefore, you could earn $120 in an hour, whereas the $50 survey may take you an hour to complete. Just keep that in mind when you are looking at how much the survey pays versus how long it takes to complete.   As you can see it can be quite lucrative to get paid doing surveys.

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
